Coated paper - gloss, satin or matt
Getting comparative costs is always a client's prerogative and we understand why it might bring you peace of mind. However, please make sure you are comparing apples with apples when sourcing your quotes.
For example: specifying A2 Gloss this still leaves the specifications wide open to interpretation. Because within the A2 grade there are different levels of quality and price.
A1 is the best with superior whiteness and printability. You get excellent print results using this quality paper.
A2 is the most popular grade and covers a range of stocks.
A3 is the most economical but it's quality is inferior to the others.
Please note: These three grades should not be confused with the standard paper sizes referred to as A1, A2, A3 and A4. |
